We are currently seeking a Pipelayer in Seattle.

Job Purpose:
Supports operations by installing and maintaining piping.

Duties:

• Plans work by studying blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and construction; calculates, itemizes, orders, and gathers requirements; coordinates schedule with affected departments.
• Installs piping by measuring, cutting, bending, shaping, fabricating, threading, soldering, and gluing pipe using hand tools and equipment; insulates piping.
• Maintains piping by conducting operating tests; identifying and repairing problems.
• Documents actions by completing records.
• Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical professional publications.
• Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

Experienced in heavy civil work.  Grading, basic Safety, Power Tools, Thoroughness, Problem Solving, Customer Service, Lifting
